In front of all the capital's trendy gastronomes (or almost - 500 people responded), Time Out Paris - a variation of the magazine of British origin dedicated to cultural outings, bars and restaurants, launched in 2012 in Paris in a web version - presented the second edition of its “Food & Drink Awards”.
With a lot of urban music, the author and feminist activist Camille Aumont Carnel distributed twelve prizes with often offbeat titles, as Fooding has accustomed us to (this is not the only similarity with the trendy guide now owned of the Michelin, since the organization of the launch evening, around chefs on stands, like its cast - Christophe Pelé from Clarence, Olive Davoux from Sur Mer, the Combat cocktail bar...-, brought back memories for us ).
The prize for best restaurant was awarded, tied to Datil by Manon Fleury and Vaisseau by Adrien Cachot (both absent because they were in service this Monday evening).
Two tables of very different styles but asserting a real personality.
Valentin Raffali, chef from Livingston, who is making his debut on “Top Chef” this Wednesday, traveled from Marseille to serve a delicious white plate in the shape of a roasted celery flower.
Enough to illustrate the upcoming launch - on April 22 - of Time Out in the Phocaean City.
