Indeed, the actress shared photos taken from her hospital bed.
We discover her there in a blouse, her face barely made up and a huge black bow in her hair.
The latter creating a real discrepancy with the decor.

The actress does not specify what health problems she is suffering from but a close-up of her face shows her weakened and tired.
In a post to celebrate Mother's Day, she wrote to her mother: "Thank you for loving and supporting us when it's bad... and trying to make sure There are still things that are not.
And to take care of our dogs when we can't and to lead us to remember happy things when we can't.
And come when we are sick and sit with us...".
Kate Beckinsale had to deal with the loss of her stepfather, Roy, last January.
But also suffered from different health problems during his life.
She had in fact confided to having suffered from anorexia at the age of 15, which she explained in particular due to the death of her father when she was only 4 years old, as reported by

In 2019, she was also hospitalized due to a very painful cyst.
