Ottobeuren - On Saturday, March 9, 2024, a driver ignored the right of way of a motorcyclist when turning onto State Road 2013 near Ottobeuren and collided with him.

At around 1:40 p.m., a 28-year-old car driver wanted to turn left from Mayor-Hasel-Strasse in Ottobeuren (Lower Allgäu District) onto State Road 2013.
He ignored the right of way of a 35-year-old motorcyclist coming from Memmingen.
As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist was thrown over the hood of the car and came to rest on the road.
Due to his serious injuries, he had to be taken to hospital in an ambulance.
