Two walkers discovered three dead sheep and other animals in poor condition in a shed near Nesselwang.
The veterinary office is involved.
Nesselwang - Two walkers discovered three dead sheep in a barn near Nesselwang.
The other animals also had to be provided with water and hay.
The owner can now expect a report and an inspection by the veterinary office.
As the police report, last weekend the two passers-by first became aware of a locked herd of sheep and goats through animal noises coming from a barn.
The two then gained entry to the building and discovered three animals that were already dead.
The remaining four-legged friends provided the walkers with water and hay and reported their discovery to the police.
The owner of the animals is now awaiting a report under the Animal Protection Act.
According to the police report, the responsible veterinary office also checks the defendant's basic suitability for keeping animals.
