This statement comes as Russia deplored an attempted “simultaneous invasion” in three areas of the Belgorod border region on the night of Monday to Tuesday.
Ukraine did not react specifically to this information.
A village captured by Russia
Two Russian energy sites were destroyed by a Ukrainian drone attack, one of which was hundreds of kilometers from the front during the night from Monday to Tuesday.
According to the Russian authorities, these drones particularly targeted Orel and Kstovo, two Russian towns located respectively some 160 km and 800 km from the Ukrainian border, setting fire to energy deposits there.
Tensions are growing as volunteers fighting for kyiv claimed this Tuesday to have carried out attacks on Russian territory.
For its part, Moscow claimed Tuesday to have captured a village in eastern Ukraine, near the city of Donetsk already under its control, the day after an announcement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky who claimed to have “stopped” the Russian advance.
