Eryn, a comic book heroine, is slowly emerging near Houilles (Yvelines).

And with it, nothing more and nothing less than an independent publishing house called Anima Caverna.

This double birth is the joint project of designer Nicolas Musique and screenwriter Alexandre Ilic.

Two authors who worked for two years on this saga called “Dark Salt”, and who wanted to be sure to avoid possible “slaps” from traditional publishers.

Nicolas, 38, became a comic book author after a stint at philosophy school.

While he was preparing a master's degree, this former student of the literary prep school at the Saint-Exupéry high school in Mantes-la-Jolie, decided one day to take a 90° turn.

“I was just drawing.

I spent my time caricaturing my teachers, he says.

I told myself that this was really what I wanted to do.”

Direction Antony (Hauts-de-Seine) and the Jean-Trubert-Arc-en-Ciel comic strip school which he joins on file.
