Ukraine reports successes in the war against Russia.
But the country is running out of ammunition.
And that is not President Zelensky's only concern.
Kiev – The war in Ukraine has been going on for more than two years.
But Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj has now expressed optimism about the situation on the front.
“The situation is much better than in the last three months,” he told French broadcaster BFMTV on Monday (March 11).
Zelensky admitted in the interview that the Ukrainian army also had difficulties “due to the lack of artillery ammunition, the air blockade, Russian long-range weapons and the high density of Russian drones.”
However, Russia has also been partially stopped and is losing a large number of armed forces.
But the Ukrainian president also warned against too much optimism.
Zelensky emphasized that his statement could no longer be true in a week or a month if the Ukrainian army does not receive sufficient support.
The Ukrainian army is currently building three fortification lines with a length of over 1,000 kilometers.

Ukraine worries about Donald Trump's possible election victory
Even if Donald Trump wins the US elections in November, Ukraine fears a severe setback in the war against the Russian invaders.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said in an interview on Hungarian state television after a meeting with Trump last weekend that Trump would not spend “a penny on the Ukrainian-Russian war” as US President.
Orban continued: “If America doesn’t give money, the Europeans themselves will be unable to finance this war and then the war will be over.” Trump has “pretty detailed plans on how to end the war.”
He was not authorized to give details.
“His plans correspond to Hungary’s interests.”
It was “hard not to agree with that.”
Trump is said to have detailed plans to end the Ukraine war
Zelenskyj reacted angrily to the once again demonstrated good understanding between Orban and Donald Trump.
Orban is playing “a dangerous game” with Trump, Zelensky said in an interview with the French daily
Le Monde
published on Monday (March 11) .
“This country knows what an invasion is and what the consequences of a fascist regime are, and I am amazed that Budapest's messages are radical with regard to Ukraine.
Playing with Trump won’t achieve anything,” Zelensky continued.

Ukraine worried about Orban’s “good relations” with Putin
Relations between Hungary and Ukraine have long been strained.
Orban maintains good relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He only half-heartedly supports the West's sanctions against Moscow because of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
Orban regularly waters down EU sanctions decisions with veto threats.
He has always refused a meeting with Zelensky on the grounds that Ukraine is not doing enough for the ethnic Hungarian minority living there.
