"The directive on the energy performance of buildings as approved by the European Parliament mitigates some risks that we had highlighted. However, the objectives are challenging and therefore it is necessary to prepare in time, including with adequate public policies to support less well-off families".
This was stated in a statement to ANSA by the general director of the Abi, Giovanni Sabatini, who recalls how "banks are increasingly developing the "green mortgage" market - i.e. financing aimed at the purchase of homes with high energy performance or the energy requalification of properties" .
