He had already beaten blood cancer once, but the disease returned.

A registration campaign is now being organized for Benny (46) - both online and on site.

Gochsheim - Giving up is not an option for Benny.

The 46-year-old was diagnosed with blood cancer three years ago and went through a difficult time.

But after many clinic visits and a stem cell donation, the disease seemed to have been overcome.

But March 6, 2024 changed everything: after 1185 days the cancer is back - Benny needs a stem cell donation again.

And: “A whole village is helping with the registration campaign.”

Benny's friends are organizing an online registration campaign, and there will also be a registration campaign at the new meego spring trade fair in Gochsheim on March 16th.

“The cancer is back”: After years, Benny needs a stem cell donation again

“After 1,185 cancer-free days, in which Benny was able to take his life back into his own hands after he had overcome leukemia, climbed the Zugspitze, spent time with his wife and hugged his second grandchild, the shock diagnosis came: the cancer is back.” , says the DKMS.

After becoming particularly exhausted while gardening, Benny went to the doctor.

This confirmed the fear that the cancer was back.

A difficult time begins again for the 46-year-old; he needs a stem cell donation again.

Despite the situation, he has not lost his optimism: “Benjamin is building up everyone around him as he moves into the next round of his toughest fight.

If anyone can win this fight, it’s Benny!” DKMS quotes his relatives as saying.

“We have to give him back some of his unconditional willingness to help,” they emphasize and are therefore calling for people to register.
