You get oat plants for free in the village, but you pay with your nerves when your neighbor Lutz starts the lawn mower again at 7 a.m.
The Pur hit mix, the Permilleweg, getting your tractor driving license at the age of 6 - these are just some of the things you know if you grew up in the village.
But there are so many other experiences that you only have somewhere between the hay and the bus stop and that you just can't really explain to city children.
Sometimes it almost feels as if you, as a village child, simply speak a different language... which is probably because there are many words that simply have a different meaning in the village than in the city.
