Anyone who gets involved in the FFW Allershausen doesn't have to be bored.
The current usage figures prove this.
The number of members has fallen.
Allershausen
- Commander Friedrich Moser showed at the annual general meeting that with 59 active and 19 passive members, the lowest number has been in many years.
Two new members were admitted to the assembly, but this compares to 18 resignations in the past two years.
The commander made it clear that these were separations because the active people usually no longer have the time or desire: “If someone no longer wants to do that when they are young, then it is better to end it.” After this adjustment, you now have 50 absolute active helpers in the armed forces.
This team had a lot to do in 2023 with 226 appearances (2619 man-hours).
“We don’t write down every branch that is cleared away,” said Moser, pointing out that only 20 operations were recorded across the board due to the severe storm damage in the community.
In total, the active members performed 8,862 hours of voluntary service.
Moser's criticism: "No progress is being made with the construction of the new fire station"
In his report, Moser criticized “the fact that nothing is progressing with the construction of the new fire station”.
In the last twelve months, nothing has happened in the search for a location, which is still completely open.
Friedrich Moser, who also sits on the local council, criticized “the fact that the fire brigade is an absolute duty of the community”.
That is why the project, which is estimated to cost eight to nine million euros, should not be postponed for the next ten years.
Plans such as municipal housing construction are desirable, but voluntary projects.
Mayor Martin Vaas emphasized that the municipal company was only founded to develop commercial space and build a fire station.
Things will move forward, “but all possible locations on our land are in the landscape protection area”.
Therefore, solutions must now be discussed with the district office.
The new maypole is put up together with the boys' club
At the fire brigade club, chairman Stefan Waldhauser reported that the new maypole was put up together with the boys' club.
“We had a lot of effort,” said the chairman and thanked the volunteers.
He formulated the goal of establishing a children's fire department in order to get potential young people interested in the fire department at an early age.
Commander Friedrich Moser also appealed to those active to promote the rebuilding of the youth fire department after the Corona years.
During the meeting, Maxi Huber and Christoph Arndt were officially accepted into the active team.
In addition, the board filled the most recently vacant position of deputy youth leader with Friedrich Moser Jr.
new and now has a complete management team again.
