Elon Musk is shocked after the attack on the Tesla factory in Grünheide - and is considering a visit.
The plant manager is concerned about employees – and sharply criticizes the action.
Grünheide – After the arson attack on the power supply at the Tesla factory in Grünheide, production is starting up again.
However, the sabotage action still has an impact.
“If someone criticizes us, we respond to this criticism with arguments.
But terror and violence go too far,” said plant manager Andre Thierig to

.
Everything must be done “to avoid such threatening situations,” said Thierig.
Tesla therefore contacted the authorities and asked for support.
The plant manager also reports that employees are concerned about their safety.
Some employees asked him “whether it was dangerous to wear Tesla clothing outside the factory.”

The arson attack also caused horror at the company headquarters.
“He was shocked like us and offered his support,” said Thierig about Tesla boss Elon Musk’s reaction.

Brandenburg's Prime Minister may be expected to pay a visit, wrote the media service, citing business circles.
The company and government spokesman Florian Engels did not comment.

“With the best-selling electric cars in Europe, we are a key component of the energy transition in the EU,” said the Tesla factory manager.
“And then alleged environmentalists come and cause us this damage.
That’s crazy.”

Thierig also rejected environmentalists' allegations against Tesla's so-called Gigafactory.
“Rumors and false information have been spreading for a long time,” the Tesla executive told
Wirtschaftswoche
.
Tesla only uses a third of the permitted amount of water.
“We are in discussions with the water association about a possible reduction in the amount of water that has been agreed so far,” said the plant manager.
On Tuesday last week, previously unknown perpetrators set fire to a freely accessible electricity pylon in a field in eastern Brandenburg, which is part of the power supply for the car factory in Grünheide.
The far-left Vulcan group said it was responsible for the attack.
The Federal Prosecutor's Office took over the investigation.
