And once again, familiar faces from film and television walked across the former air base near Penzing.
As the BR reports, the 96th Munich crime scene entitled “Charlie” was filmed from March 5th to 8th in the Penzing Studios and the surrounding area.
Penzing - Filming of the crime scene with the working title “Charlie” has been underway since February 26th under the direction of Lancelot von Naso (Tatort Munich: “Game Over”), according to the statement.
The murder investigation in their 96th case takes Commissioners Leitmayr and Batic, together with Kalli Hammermann, to a US military site where a large-scale NATO maneuver with countless soldiers, civilian extras and heavy equipment is being held.
In addition to Udo Wachtveitl, Miroslav Nemec and Ferdinand Hofer, Yodit Tarikwa, Dorka Gryllus, Tim Seyfi and Wilson Gonzalez Ochsenknecht also play.
The screenplay for “Charlie” was written by Dagmar Gabler (“Tatort München: Hackl”).
The crime scene is produced on behalf of the BR.
As the television network also reports, filming began in Hohenfels in the Upper Palatinate.
Filming took place in Penzing last week.
Finally, the team shoots in Bad Tölz and the Munich area.
The broadcast on Erste is planned for the Tatort 2024/25 season.
