Controversy in Lombardy after the words of the Councilor for Security Romano La Russa, who during the discussion in the Regional Council of a motion from the League and the centre-right which expressed solidarity with the police, addressing the centre-left benches said that the boys who they demonstrate "you use them as the vanguard of the bars that their grandparents used 50 years ago".
A rather harsh debate in the Chamber, with moments of tension especially between the councilor and the group leader of the M5s Nicola Di Marco, expelled after occupying the council desks.
The group leader of the Democratic Party Pierfrancesco Majorino also returned to the topic: "Already yesterday in the chamber we responded harshly to Romano La Russa. Carmela Rozza rightly did so, who reminded him, among other things, of his past as a thug in square. I want to insist on this point - commented Majorino - the former Sanbabilino thug La Russa apologizes to the girls and boys beaten with truncheons in Pisa and to their families. And remember the words of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella".
