US President Joe Biden said this week that Netanyahu is causing Israel more harm than good and clarified that Israeli action in Rafah is a "red line". Knesset member Danny Danon was interviewed today (Wednesday) by Ben Caspit and Aryeh Eldad on 103FM and addressed the tensions between the Israeli government to the American government.
"We recognize two opposing processes in terms of timetables, according to Danon, "We see the return of the kidnapped, and in the White House we see the elections and want to return to normal."
However, Danon clarified that "we must maintain good contact as much as possible. The US supports us."

Danon said that after the first kidnapping deal, Israel listened to the United States.
"We took our foot off the gas a little and in my opinion it was a mistake," he said, "we should have told them then, 'We are not stopping, we are continuing with exactly the same pattern of intensity.'"

Regarding the reports of the United States considering preventing Israel from using American weapons in Rafah, Danon said that "if tomorrow morning the United States decides that we are not allowed to use their weapons, we will use other weapons that will be less accurate, and they don't want that either. It will be more difficult for us, There will be prices, but that does not mean we will stop the war. It is important to convey this determination to the Americans as well."
Later in the interview, Danon expressed his opinion on the situation in the north.
"We are trying to prevent the end or postpone it until there is an agreement with Hezbollah, and every day that passes lowers the chances of that happening," Danon added, "therefore, I think we need to deal with Rafah first and then go north, because Hezbollah will have significant costs On the Israeli economy. In a decade, it is not certain that we will have the ability to face Hezbollah, there may be a terrible balance here."
