Linnea Klee from Jetzendorf wants to become Bavarian beer queen.
What undoubtedly sets the 22-year-old apart from the other applicants: her job is related to the Bavarian Purity Law.
Jetzendorf – Bavaria and beer are closely linked, and so a new beer queen is elected every year: a young Jetzendorfer has applied for this position.
22-year-old Linnea Klee, who grew up near Holledau, where beer originated, wants to become Bavaria's beer queen.
The fact that she made it to the final six in the selection process gives her confidence that she will become the Bavarian beer queen.
“I found out about this election when I was 16, but I was still too young then,” says the friendly young lady, who now has a good chance of being able to wield the beer scepter soon.
What sets the young Jetzendorfer apart from the other applicants is undoubtedly that her professional work is related to the Bavarian Purity Law.
Linnea Klee did a brewing internship at Ingolstadt's Nordbräu and her enthusiasm for beer never left her.

After her apprenticeship in Scheyern, she started working as a brewer in Kühbach and deals with the “fine barley juice” every day.
“But that has nothing to do with the application for beer queen.
I applied for the election completely independently, but the brewery is behind me and supports me,” emphasizes the candidate, who runs after the ball in her free time.
She is an active soccer player for TSV Indersdorf, where she plays on the right wing.
Even then, an occasional pint of wheat beer after the game is a must.
She loves Bavarian conviviality and so she joined the Glück Auf Eglersried shooting club at an early age.
Linnea Klee knows better than her competitors that every beer is unique.
“Through my candidacy I have already gained experience that no one can take away from me,” says the friendly applicant from the upper Ilmtal.
Now she hopes for support from her circle of friends and acquaintances and beyond.
Online voting for the final four applicants will take place from Monday, April 8th to Monday, April 29th on the website www.bayerisches-bier.de.
