Fritz Wepper receives regular visits in the hospice from his wife Susanne Kellermann and their 12-year-old daughter Filippa, who carefully looks after her father.
Munich – Fritz Wepper (82) is known, among other things, for his acting performance in series such as “Derrick” and “For Heaven's Sake”.
In his private life, however, the actor has had to experience some health setbacks - the 82-year-old suffered from blood poisoning and cancer in the past.
Fritz Wepper is now in a hospice - but there he is lovingly cared for by his wife and daughter.

Ms. Susanne Kellermann (49) and daughter Filippa (12) regularly visit Fritz Wepper in the hospice.
Now the director describes the situation in which she finds herself and her daughter in more detail and also talks about how Filippa is coping with this stroke of fate.
“She is handling the whole situation incredibly well.

She also explains how similar her daughter is to her husband and that her cheerful nature is incredibly close to that of Fritz Wepper.
“Filippa also lies down on the bed with Fritz.
She is very caring, cheers him up, tells him a lot and decorates his room with pictures.”
Difficult phases: Daughter Filippa empathizes with father Fritz Wepper
But there are also difficult moments for mother and daughter.
In phases in which Fritz Wepper was doing worse, Filippa felt strongly.
“We couldn’t get anything going during these phases,” says Susanne Kellermann in an interview.
“I had to take Filippa out of school more often because she was so sad.
Luckily she is a very good student.
The school has shown a lot of understanding.”

Fritz Wepper is currently recovering well given the circumstances, as Susanne Kellermann reports that the actor is currently not taking any medication - this of course eliminates the side effects.
The family is happy about this, but Susanne Kellermann naturally feels “exhausted” in many moments.
