He breaks with Les Écologists by loudly supporting in
Le Parisien
this Wednesday the list of La France insoumise in the European elections.
The Green Party decided to
“unanimously”
exclude the MP from its ranks.
Before joining him in October 2022, Aurélien Taché was a member of the Macronist party La République en Marche (now Renaissance) from 2017 to 2020. He began his political career within the Socialist Party, notably advising the Ministers of Housing Sylvia Pinel and Emmanuelle Cosse under François Hollande.

The elected official from Val-d'Oise justified this breaking of the ban by serious strategic disagreements with the leadership of the environmentalist party.
“The movement is not at all taking the path of the mass party and what popular ecology could be
,” he criticizes in
Le Parisien
, targeting national secretary Marine Tondelier by name.
“For political ecology seen in the big picture, it is not with them that we will have to deal

He also explains his support for the rebellious candidate in the June 9 election by his attachment to the Nupes program.
The defector confirmed his presence at the launch meeting of Manon Aubry's campaign on Saturday.
What place in the Assembly?
The environmentalist party, although it confirms the suspension of Aurélien Taché and his probable eventual exclusion, refuses to comment on his remarks.

The status of the deputy was, however, not decided in the National Assembly.
The suspension
“does not prevent me from remaining within the environmentalist group in the Assembly
