Impossible to deny the facts.
Every road transport vehicle has a tachograph, an electronic device that records speed and driving time as well as certain activities.
It is this device which allowed the Aquitaine motorway republican security company (CRS) to identify 33 offenses committed by a heavy goods vehicle driver.
The driver, aged 58, was intercepted on March 6 because he had just carried out a prohibited overtaking, according to information from
Sud Ouest
, confirmed by
Le Figaro
.
His tachograph then revealed that he also had 33 infractions, all concerning road transport regulations, which require regular breaks and limit the number of kilometers traveled.
He had to pay a fine of several thousand euros.
