A 16-year-old suffered minor injuries in an accident on Monday afternoon.
He slipped on his moped in the Straußberg curve, which was contaminated by manure.
Rottenbuch/Peiting – A 16-year-old fell on his moped in the Straußberg curve on Monday afternoon.
As the police report, the young man from Peiting was traveling from Rottenbuch towards Peiting around 3:30 p.m. when his two-wheeler skidded in the sharp left-hand bend and crashed into the guardrail.
He was slightly injured.
Moped accident in the Straußberg curve: 16-year-old slipped on contaminated road
On site, the Schongau police forces discovered that the road was heavily contaminated with manure.
According to current knowledge, this may have been the cause of the accident, according to the police report.
It is not yet known who was responsible for the contamination of the road.
For this reason, the police are asking for information from witnesses.
The light motorcycle suffered material damage amounting to approximately 2,000 euros. The road had to be extensively cleaned by the volunteer fire department.
The police, fire brigade and rescue services in the Weilheim-Schongau district are available around the clock.
