In the spring of 2024 there will be a rare curiosity when it comes to pension payouts.
Because of the leap year, pensioners - who can also expect a pension increase this year - only get the money into their account on the 29th day of the month in the short February, but on the 28th day of the month in the comparatively long March, from a simple one Reason.
One more time during the year the pension comes well before the end of the month, namely in June.
Because the last day of June falls on a Sunday and the day before, June 29th, on a Saturday, the money will be transferred on Friday, June 28th.

Although the payment date is the same for all pensioners, not all recipients are treated equally.
