"The gas once arrived from the north-east, now it comes from the south. We are an important sorting point. In Berlin we will sign the final part of the solidarity agreement. The commitment to solidarity means intervening to help, but in this case for us it also means intervening as a place of transmission".
This was said by the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto, on the sidelines of the Sustainable Intermodality Forum in Rome, referring to the solidarity agreement with Germany for the supply of gas which will be signed next week in Berlin.
