The first morning shift started at Tesla after the power outage, but the situation is not entirely normal: CEO Musk is visiting and wants to get an idea of the situation.
Grünheide - Tesla boss Elon Musk arrived in Grünheide in Brandenburg for a short-term visit to the manufacturer's only European factory.
The entrepreneur landed at BER capital airport in the morning, drove on to the factory premises and was greeted there by numerous employees.
Production in the car manufacturer's so-called Giga Factory came to a standstill for several days due to an attack on the power supply.
It started up again on Wednesday, and the first early shift since the incident showed up for work that morning, it was said.
Now the CEO is getting an idea of the situation.
The employees are happy about the resumption of production, said the company's presiding works council member, Michaela Schmitz, on RBB Inforadio.
She can feel great relief from the employees.
“People are excited to be able to come back to work.”
About a week ago, a fire was set on a freely accessible electricity pylon in a field, which also secures the supply to the Tesla factory.
Production at the car factory came to a standstill.
The far-left Vulcan group said it was responsible for the attack.
According to Schmitz, some employees were concerned about their jobs and their own safety.
Supply has now been restored and production has started.
