“It is an attack on respect and dignity, a serious attack on the republican pact” thunders the president of the 31st chamber of the Paris criminal court.
Neither the general director of Adecco, nor Mathieu C., 57 years old, and Olivier P., 61 years old, retired, the two former directors of the Paris Montparnasse catering agency are present to hear their condemnation in person.
They were found guilty of ethnic registration and discrimination, and fined.
It is 10,000 euros including 7,000 euros suspended for each former director, and 50,000 euros for Adecco France.
They will also have to pay 1,200 euros to around twenty former temporary workers whom the court considered discriminated against because they were black, in this procedure which began in the last century.
