The Catholic church in Forstinning was renovated for years.

You want to celebrate the end with an organ concert, so to speak.

Forstinning –

With the completion of several years of renovation work, the Catholic parish church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary is, so to speak, “finished again”.

Showing this to a broader public could also be done in the form of a special organ concert, which was recently the joint idea of parish council chairman Toni Beer and church musician Konrad Huber.

This is how the idea came about to invite people to a very special musical experience in the venerable church next Friday, March 15th.

For one evening the focus is on the church organ.

The motto: The organ meets other instruments.

And right in the middle, so to speak, sits the auditorium, which can be entertained or inspired by the power and diversity of the local organ.

Be inspired by sounds that can also exude a special meditative power.

Three organists each organize a part of the organ evening

The hoped-for atmospheric organ night will be organized by organ experts Stefan Moser, Korbinian Maier and Joachim Steinbacher.

Sometimes classic, sometimes modern;

but always in such a way that the listener notices how versatile the organ can be.

Other contributors are: Sonja Petri, Karin and Marlene Läuger and Franziska Mangstl.

The concert consists of three parts, each organist performs one.

In between you go over to the parish hall to the Ratsch.

Particularly exciting: Maier plans to perform his own improvisation using songs from “God’s Praise” requested by visitors.

Entry costs twelve euros.

Tickets are available at (08124) 7733 or by email: Konrad.huber.musik@t-online.de.
