Two divers were identified today (Wednesday) near the shores of the Gaza Strip.
The IDF forces fired at them and they moved away. The incident ended without special alert in the settlements. At the same time, Defense Minister Yoav Galant entered the Gaza Strip this morning with the forces of Division 162, led by the division's commander, Lt. Col. Itzik Cohen, and held a situation assessment together with the commander of the Hanah Brigade. L, Lt. Col. Yair Zuckerman and the commander of the 401st Brigade Lt. Col. Bnei Aharon.
Gallant made an observation of the preparatory work being carried out for the opening of the naval aid axis and stood closely on the assessments of the forces in the sector.
Later, the minister spoke with the commanders of the battalions fighting under the division in the Gaza Strip for over five months, and heard from them about the willingness of the forces to continue fighting until the goals of the war are achieved.

"I am now with the forces of Division 162 near the beach in Gaza at the end of the corridor. I met the generals, the generals and the commander of the division - unusual work is being done here above and below the ground, the forces reach everywhere and the conclusion is that there is no safe place for terrorists in Gaza." Gallant said.
According to him, "Even those who think we are delaying will soon see that we will reach everywhere. We will bring everyone who was involved in the events of October 7th to justice - either we will eliminate him, or we will bring him to trial in Israel. There is no safe place, not here, not outside of Gaza, and not anywhere Across the Middle East, we will bring them all to their place. The humanitarian issue that will soon be on the agenda with the expected landing of vessels is a central issue that will allow supplies to civilians and not to Hamas. Any such act weakens Hamas and strengthens our hold, and improves our ability to continue the fighting."
