Two people were injured this morning (Wednesday) in a light-moderate manner from a stabbing attack at the tunnel checkpoint at the entrance to Jerusalem, the suspect was neutralized by the security forces.
Large police forces under the command of the Jerusalem district commander were called to the scene.
The tunnel road is closed in the direction of Jerusalem.
MDA informs about two people injured in an attack near the tunnel checkpoint on the way out of Jerusalem. MDA medics and paramedics gave them medical treatment and took them to the Shaarei Zedek Medical Center, a 25-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman in mild to moderate condition with stab wounds to their bodies.

Last week there was a stabbing attack on Sderot Neve Ya'akov Street in Jerusalem, during which a 64-year-old man who was waiting at a bus stop was stabbed.
He was lightly-moderately injured and was rushed to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in the city.
The terrorist, a 14-year-old resident of East Jerusalem, fled the scene, but was later caught.
