Libertarian influencer
Emmanuel Danann
was convicted of discrimination following a complaint from a transgender woman who received offensive and disqualifying comments.
This is the
first conviction of this type
for an influencer.
Danann must pay a cash fine and was also prohibited from naming or referring to the victim again on his social networks.
According to a statement from the Public Prosecutor's Office, the influencer made a post "ridiculing and humiliating" the woman and the trans community.
The complainant said that this "incited offensive and disqualifying comments towards her and the group she represents."
