Brand Studio for Valtra
For the second consecutive year,
Valtra
was chosen as the official tractor of
Expoagro
, the largest open-air agroindustrial exhibition in the region, which took place from March 5 to 8 in San Nicolás, province of Buenos Aires.
And given such a distinction, the brand took the opportunity to put together a proposal to match, deploying the best of its innovations for the development of the Argentine countryside, with the focus on high technology and commitment to the environment.

Impressive proposals from Valtra, and a stellar launch
In its
imposing 2,400 square meter stand,
the brand exhibited both agricultural machinery and its latest advances in solutions for producers, especially in precision agriculture and digital agriculture.
But of all the news, perhaps the most notable was the official launch of the R Series sprayer, which, equipped with a 200 HP 6-cylinder
AGCO Power
engine , will be available in versions with a 3,000 and 3,500 liter tank (R530 and R535 , respectively).
It is a product in line with what is expected from a Valtra product: its
AWD 4×4
intelligent hydrostatic transmission has an independent electronic control that, according to the brand, maximizes the work window by up to 25%.
And its cutting bar, configurable in 9 sections with pneumatic control and in 36 sections with electronic control, allows reducing the waste of inputs by generating 73% less overlap.
Valtra brought its range of tractors to Expoagro.
In turn, both models
can attach 24, 30, 32 and 36 meter booms
, all with recirculation and automatic cleaning system.
And the largest is made of carbon steel and aluminum, which reduces both final weight and deterioration in the long term.
As it could not be otherwise, the
R Series
is at the forefront of smart agriculture, and even has a weather station capable of generating condition maps and alarms, but also with tools that optimize the operation and guarantee the sustainability of crops, by avoiding, for example, excessive applications of a compound.
“It is a product that we have already launched in other Latin American countries and in all of them it showed very good performances, so we are very happy to be able to bring it to Argentina,” highlighted Valtra's senior sales manager for Latin America,
Emiliano Ferrari
.
Valtra machinery was the focus of attraction at Expoagro.
The new tractors thus join a renewed Valtra catalog that could also be seen at Expoagro, and that covers a power range from 65 to 370 HP with all the versatility of mid-line machinery, including mechanical and electronic motors, synchronized boxes or
PowerShift
, as well as its T line and S Series with CVT transmission and the
Challenger
axial combines .
In addition, Valtra presented at the fair its
Valtra Guide
solutions , which offer multiple benefits and optimize the working day by improving performance with more environmentally friendly treatments, and
Valtra Connect
, a telemetry tool for fleet management that generates performance statistics. use and thus helps drive efficiency at every step.
Expoagro, an opportunity to be close to customers and their needs
But beyond any technological advance or new product to launch on the market, Valtra took advantage of the experience of
Expoagro 2024
to have direct contact, face to face, with its clients and with the public in the field in general.
For this reason, as in every edition, the firm was present at the San Nicolás fair with the full force of its commercial and dealer network: 85% of its distribution network arrived there, a team of about
80 people from all provinces
and all localities, to make themselves available to the public and offer the best advice on details of their products and financing plans
In addition to the products, there was also space for entertainment.
“That gave customers peace of mind that their area was well represented at the fair,” said Ferrari, who also highlighted the presence of factory personnel and other areas, such as the precision agriculture team or even its financial arm. , so as not to leave any doubt left to chance.
“No matter who you talk to, we wanted people to feel like they have our back not only at the time of a sale, but also afterwards, throughout the entire life cycle of the product,” he added.
Under that same logic, Ferrari highlighted the fact that Valtra has been
producing its products in Argentina for more than a decade - in its plant in the Buenos Aires town of General Rodríguez -
, a fact that is cause for celebration internally but also a fact more than adding reliability to its catalog of proposals for the field.
Valtra dealers and advisors offered personalized attention to producers.
“For us it is a source of pride, because they are products made with
Argentine labor
, and for customers it is a guarantee that they are tractors made locally and that they have good after-sales,” he concluded.
