This is a forecast that should boost the morale of many people.
On Thursday, the sun could shine for a total of five hours in Paris, according to La Chaîne Météo.
The duration of sunshine will be even greater moving towards the south of the country.
It will go from three hours in the north of France to eight hours in Corsica or Bouches-du-Rhône.
It will also be five hours in the center of the country but close to 0, or even completely zero, in Brittany, particularly in Finistère where rain is expected during the day.

Thursday is shaping up to be the sunniest and hottest day of the week nationwide.
Temperatures there will generally be between 4°C and 5°C above seasonal averages.
In Paris, the expected maximum is 17°C, in Bordeaux (Gironde) it will be 20°C.
But we will have to wait until the afternoon to see the sun break through the clouds installed in the morning.

However, it is not completely excluded that the sun will take over the clouds in the morning.

The sun has been scarce since the beginning of February.
Two main reasons explain this situation.
The first is the regular arrival of depression.
The second comes from the persistence of morning humidity throughout the day.
In February, across the country, there was a 30% deficit in sunshine.
The situation has been the same since the beginning of March.
But a city like Dijon (Côte-d'Or) recorded a drop of 64% compared to the average.
