New WhatsApp feature in Android beta allows pinning more chats.
Discovery and possible expansion of the pinning function for users.
WhatsApp, the widely used messaging service, has introduced an innovative feature in its latest beta version for Android that expands the ability to pin chats in Messenger.
Currently, users are only able to pin up to three conversations to the top of the chat list.
However, the latest beta reveals that this limit could be lifted.
Most recently, channels on WhatsApp also received the pin function to enable users to better organize, as NEXTG.tv reports.

A look at the expanded pinning feature
Pinning chats makes important conversations quickly accessible without having to scroll through the entire chat list.
The beta version shows that up to five chats can now be pinned.
Experts and technology observers speculate that the final version of the feature could even offer the ability to pin an even larger number of chats.
Although beta versions of WhatsApp provide a first glimpse of potential new features, it remains uncertain when and in what form these will be integrated into the final version.
Past experience shows that the time until new features are officially introduced can vary.
However, the pinning extension does not appear to pose a more complex technical challenge, which suggests it will be available to all users soon.
