The controversy unleashed by accusations of
sexual abuse
involving four
Vélez
players in
Tucumán
continues its course.
The prosecutor in charge of the case,
Eugenia María Posse
, ordered precautionary measures for those involved and on Monday a crucial interview is expected in
Cámara Gesell
with the 24-year-old journalist who made the complaint.
The events date back to last Wednesday, March 6, when the young woman appeared at the headquarters of the Crimes against Persons division of the Tucumán police to report the alleged events.
According to her testimony, after the match between
Vélez
and
Atlético Tucumán
, she was contacted by the team's substitute goalkeeper,
Sebastián Sosa
, who invited her to meet at the Hilton hotel, the team's meeting place.
The complainant's story details that,
after buying a bottle of fernet with the money transferred by the soccer player
, she entered the hotel through a side access, bypassing security controls, and went to the room where Sosa's colleagues were:
Abiel Osorio
,
José Florentín Bobadilla
and
Braian Cufré
.
According to her version,
she suspected she had been drugged and had been subjected to sexual abuse.
The young journalist also provided details about the beginning of contact with Sosa.
During the match, from the "mixed zone" sector, the substitute goalkeeper would have sent her messages through Instagram, requesting her phone number.
Later, Sosa would have invited her to the Hilton hotel, where the events of the complaint would take place.
Not only that: in the development of the investigation, new elements emerged, among them
Sosa's possible unconsciousness during the alleged abuse and his subsequent concern about the state of the complainant
.
This fact complicates the situation of her companions, who would have been identified by the victim as active participants in the alleged act.
As a result of these events, the prosecution decided to charge Sosa as a secondary participant and the other three players with aggravated sexual abuse, due to the participation of more than two people in the incident.

"On Saturday, March 2, while I was on the Atlético Tucumán field, I went to the sector called “mixed zone”, in front of the bus where the Vélez team was. From above the bus they started making faces at me. There the substitute goalkeeper, Sebastián Sosa sent me a message through the Instagram application and asked me for my phone number, to which I accepted and sent him my WhatsApp," he began by saying in the complaint he made.
And he continued: "Sosa started writing to me, telling me that he had the night free and asking me if I wanted to have something to drink. I accepted. He asked me if I had any friends to invite, but I told him no and he told me that he was with other colleagues. I answered him, verbatim:
"As long as they don't get lost, there is no problem
." Type 22, Sosa told me to go to the Hilton hotel located on Piedras and Miguel Lillo. Punctually, to room 407."
Inside the room - as he reported - he said: "
They offered me two cans of beer and asked me if I had threesomes or if I was with women
. I answered no, that I wasn't attracted to it and that whenever I was with someone it was just between two. At that moment,
they offered me fernet in a white Stanley thermos
. The players pretended to drink or directly passed the glass to each other and it always went to me," he explained.
The victim also recounted the sexual actions of each of the Vélez players, although that part is protected in the file.
