In June 2003, Florent Pagny was invited to sing in duet with Taulier the title
Pense à moi
at the Parc des Princes, in Paris.
Images, filmed by a small camera, show him quietly sitting in the stands of the stadium, waiting for his turn to go on stage.
An assistant comes to pick him up.
In two songs, it's his.
The two men head backstage and enter a corridor.
Then they retrace their steps and take another corridor.
“Bunch of badgers!”
“You scare me a little there, because you don’t know the way at all,”
grumbles Florent Pagny, who hides his stress behind his sunglasses and his thick blond hair.
“Where is the staircase?”
, he asks again, while the first chords of
Pense à moi
are heard.
He understands that he will miss his entrance.
The two men pick up their pace.
“After four very long minutes of stress
,” comments Laurent Delahousse in voiceover, the scene is finally in sight.
The artist scolds his team:
“Bundle of badgers!”
.
No time to install the headset (intended to have “sound feedback” and therefore to hear himself sing), he rushes on stage to deliver his verse.

The spectators, surprised by this last minute appearance, may have seen nothing but fire.
Not Johnny, of course.
“He then told me: you were late and you sang nearby
,” recalls Florent Pagny in voiceover.
The evening of the concert, the interpreter of

receives a shower of messages from Laetitia Hallyday and producer Jean-Claude Camus.
He explains himself, talks about these four minutes of stress, and Johnny gives up.
The two artists, between whom there was both respect and a certain rivalry according to the documentary, will sing together again the next day, without a hitch, multiplying the winks and the lyrical flights.
