Last year, critics flocked to the production of
“Top Chef”
and M6: the culinary competition ended too late.
The fifteenth and new season of the show, launched this Wednesday March 13 on M6, seems to be taking the same direction.

The return of “Top Chef” was awaited by gastronomy lovers.
This year, the competition is celebrating its fifteenth edition with a 15-star jury.
Dominique Crenn and Stéphanie Le Quellec joined Hélène Darroze, Philippe Etchebest, Paul Pairet and Glenn Viel.
The first episode featured 15 of the sixteen candidates in this new opus (Anicée having already qualified thanks to her victory in “Objectif Top Chef”).
But, despite a successful show with talented contestants and dynamic leaders, fans were left frustrated by the length of the show.

Certainly, the first episode of a season requires a particular editing allowing viewers to get an idea of each of the new participants.
However, the show once again dragged on.
It started around 9:15 p.m., five minutes after the announced time.
And launched the third round of the evening at... 11 p.m.
And it was not the last event of the evening since the final elimination challenge began even later.
This first episode ended around 12:15 a.m.... Much too late for some fans who expressed their dissatisfaction with X.
“No really,
“Top Chef” is becoming nonsense: almost midnight and still not finished.
Are you aware at M6 that viewers have to get up the next day to go to work?”
, protests one of them.
Another bluntly explains that he is going to stop watching the show:
“So M6, it was the start of “Top Chef”, but I don't know what time you plan to finish.
There are people who get up in the morning and need to sleep.
So, as I don't like not seeing the end of a program, I'm going to stop there for this season
.
A third gave his overall opinion on the episode:
“Review of the first episode of “Top Chef”?
Too long"

Others reacted with humor.
“
So guys, it's time to wrap up because the viewers are on the verge of death here
,” laughs an Internet user.
“11:35 p.m. and another test?
So M6, don’t push grandma into trouble either,”
reacted another.
“When you want to finish episode 1 which begins on a Wednesday evening and ends on a Thursday morning... Thank you M6”
,
“For its fifteenth season, “Top Chef” therefore ends... fifteen years later!”
, fans still react.
One of them also posted a photo with an eye and a dark circle underneath with this message.
“The sign of recognition at work for those who watch “Top Chef” until the end”
.
