Do you remember when the Happy Meal at McDonalds was still called “Junior Cone” and you celebrated the music of Bro'Sis on your tiny plastic radio?
Everything used to be better... that's not true all that often.
After all, there are usually reasons for changes and this is also the case with many fast food chains.
For example, we can argue about whether McDonalds was better in the 80s and 90s or not, but what definitely needed improvement back then was all the plastic waste.
Today the company is at least a little more sustainable, but that also means that us pre-2000 kids had to quickly say goodbye to our beloved plastic toys.
That's exactly why I want to refresh your memories again, just so we can revel in them together:
1. Do you remember how many times you listened to Las Ketchup or Bro'Sis on your mini radio? The quality was terrible!
Still, I miss my blue one every day!
2. Only these SEGA games were even better. I had the green and the blue and was OBSESSED with getting better:
I've never gotten a really good score like that, but how I'd love to try again today!
3. My memories of this version aren't that good anymore, but I'm sure I had it too:
Honestly, Crash Bandicoot will make you despair on any console.
Playing through Tetris is practically child's play compared to the games in the series.
4. Snoopy, Asterix and Obelix... There are still a lot of McDonalds collaborations today, but somehow it's not the same anymore:
Unfortunately only my siblings had these figures, but I'm just wondering how high the collector's value is these days?

5. This is going to sound really weird, but I still remember exactly what the antennas on these Furbys felt like:
if I'm not mistaken, I had the orange one or the black one.
What I know for sure is that they have given me nightmares and definitely deserve a spot on our list of the 14 most annoying toys for parents.
6. These cute dogs from Disney's “Lady and the Tramp” probably caused fewer nightmares:

7. One of the absolute best and most creative McDonald toys!
When you walked into the schoolyard wearing it, you were the talk of the day.
I mean a toy that looks like a bag of chips?
And then there’s a figure in there too?
Stunning.
The thing is perhaps even more robust than this one BigMac, which has been preserved in resin since 1970.

9. It's funny to imagine that as a child you played with the toys from the junior bag that your own children play with today:

10. And now: One of the wildest McDonald's toys ever...
11. ... because as you can see in this picture, the burger could turn into a turtle! Unbelievable?
And do you remember those purple figures?
They were everywhere along with the potatoes!
12. And last: This cute dragon that even has the McDonald's logo on a necklace! Sweet.
