Italy groaned over sharply increased prices last year.
Now a restaurant bill is causing a stir.

Rome/Ostia – Last year, many horror stories made the rounds about extreme price increases in Germans' favorite holiday destinations.
At the forefront: Italy.
Espresso for 15 euros, pizza for 45 - that had actually become a reality in some holiday destinations.
But of course these are extreme examples.
A restaurant bill that is currently causing excitement in Italy shows that there is another way.
The receipt is currently making the rounds on Facebook in Italy.
The guest had published the receipt here to show that not all restaurateurs had raised their prices so much.

The scene is in the coastal town of Ostia near Rome.
In the end we had to pay 180 euros for lunch.
The amazing thing about it: For this price, nine people could eat several courses - drinks included.
That's 20 euros per person for food and drinks.
The receipt reveals what the group received for it.
As a starter, two plates of Roman tripe, two plates of porchetta and one each of bruschetta and one plate of giant beans were served.
Nine pasta dishes followed: the Roman classic Cacio e Pepe was ordered four times, Amatriciana twice, Pasta alla Gricia once, Ravioli Burrata once and a Carbonara.
There were also six large beers and three bottles of water.
In total, the landlord asked for the said 180 euros for this menu.

“Fantastic”: Italians enthusiastic about restaurant bill
In addition to the price, the taste experience was apparently also convincing.
“I don’t have to tell you that one dish was better than the other,” the visitor wrote on Facebook alongside photos of her meal.
“I will definitely come back,” the guest wrote in his Facebook post.
Many users are enthusiastic about the report and the restaurant's prices: “Fantastic,” writes one user.
Others confirm the experience: “I confirm everything.
The place is nice, the food is good, plentiful and at a very honest price.”
