On Wednesday afternoon, March 13, 2024, there was another crash at the Memmingen motorway junction: a car collided with a tractor-trailer.
The person who caused the accident must now expect a warning.

On Wednesday, March 13, 2024, around 2 p.m., a 64-year-old was driving his car at the Memmingen motorway junction on the transition from the A 7 coming from Ulm to the A 96 in the direction of Lindau.
According to the police's initial assessment of what happened in the accident, the man was probably inattentive for a moment and as a result went off the road to the left.
He initially collided his vehicle with the so-called impact absorber of the guard rail, from where he hurled himself back onto the road and into a tractor-trailer.
The car eventually came to a stop across both lanes.
Accident at the Memmingen motorway junction: one person slightly injured and five-digit property damage
The driver was slightly injured in the accident and had to be taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
The truck driver remained uninjured.
A towing service took care of the recovery of the car, which was no longer drivable.
In total, damage amounted to around 38,000 euros.
