First Saxony, Thuringia and then Saarland: The Sahra Wagenknecht alliance will set up a regional association next week in Merzig, Saarland.
Dual leadership is also planned here.
Merzig - The Alliance Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) wants to found a regional association in Saarland next week: The event is planned for March 22nd in Merzig in the town hall, a BSW spokeswoman told the German Press Agency on Thursday.
A board of directors should also be elected at the founding event.
The BSW currently has 24 members in Saarland.
Astrid Schramm and Randolf Jobst ran as state chairmen.
Jens Danielczok is running as deputy state chairman, the spokeswoman said.
The BSW will run in the local elections in Saarland on June 9th in individual municipalities.
Wagenknecht's new party founded its first regional association in Saxony at the end of February.
Tomorrow, Friday (March 15th), a BSW regional association will be founded in Thuringia.
It is planned that Wagenknecht and her husband Oskar Lafontaine will be there at the event on March 22nd in Saarland.
Both wanted to give introductory greetings; the subsequent founding act would not be public.
