An ambulance hits a car near Weilheim because the driver braked abruptly and unpredictably.
Luckily there were no injuries.
Marnbach - On Monday morning, March 11th, a rear-end collision was probably unavoidable for the young driver of an ambulance (RTW).
A Seeshaupt woman (79) was driving her car towards Weilheim when she noticed the RTW in the rearview mirror between Marnbach and Deutenhausen.
For an unknown reason, the woman braked abruptly.
The RTW did not drive with flashing lights and sirens.
The 19-year-old driver could not have expected this reaction from the woman and could neither brake in time nor swerve to the left because oncoming traffic was approaching.
Fortunately, none of those involved were injured.
However, the total material damage amounts to approx.
13,000 EUR.
Both vehicles had to be towed.
