On the corner of Landsberger Strasse and Offenbachstrasse, “a new urban district with excellent transport connections and a wonderful location next to the park is being built,” says the description of the Paseo Carré construction project.
But the construction site of the Munich company M-Concept has been at a standstill for a long time.
At the February meeting of the Pasing-Obermenzing District Committee (BA) there were numerous citizens present who had already bought an apartment there.

Around 100 apartments and 100 condominiums are to be built in the new city district.
Also: 7,600 square meters of commercial space.
This office part of the Paseo Carré has already been completed - but not by M-Concept, but by HIH-Invest.
The Hamburg company took over management of the part of the building in April 2023.
The commercial space is now rented to the city of Munich.
The Pasing social community center was able to move into its new premises at the beginning of the year.
HIH Invest has already mentioned publicly that they are also interested in taking on residential construction.

But nothing has happened yet.
For citizens who have already purchased an apartment, the construction delays are more than just a huge nuisance: more expensive loans, loss of rent and problems moving out of the previous apartment.

The first apartments were supposed to be ready for occupancy a year ago.
A buyer reported in the BA that the management of M-Concept “couldn’t be reached anyway”.
And further: “For those who don’t know: M-Concept is also the developer responsible for the city-famous Sendlinger Loch.”
The Paseo Carré will keep Pasing busy for a long time, he concluded.
BA boss Frieder Vogelsgesang (CSU) explained that the committee understands the concerns and anger, but that the district politicians cannot do anything about this matter.
“Nevertheless, we assure all buyers of our moral support.
We are on your side.”
Investor cannot give a completion date
When asked by our newspaper, M-Concept replied that it regretted the delays and was working on solutions.
“However, there is currently no new situation that has not already been reported several times in various media.” Most recently, the underground car park was completed for all components - and the majority of the screed, drywall and installation work in the apartment building was also completed.
“However, we cannot give a specific end date at this point.”
The Paseo Carré was also on the agenda at the Pasinger citizens' meeting.
A citizen reported about a buyer group that wants to take legal action against M-Concept.
She asked the BA for help in finding more apartment buyers to make them aware of the merger.
This means they are better positioned in the negotiations.
Citizens demand support from the city
