The Beer Bitches and Carolin

The band Beer Bitches was a decision “op Kölsch”, in the truest sense of the word.

The band includes Carolin Kebekus, Nadine Weyer and Irina Ehlenbeck.

The three women have been converting international hits into “Kölsche Gassenhauer” since 2014.

For example, the Beer Bitches turned Adele's "Hello" into a lament about a man who shouts 'Helau' at carnival.

In general, Carolin Kebekus sends clear signals with her performances, in which she sometimes takes to the microphone to sing.

In 2015, Kebekus wrote “How stupid you are” to the melody of the song “How beautiful you are” by Sarah Connor.

In doing so, she speaks out against right-wing extremism.
