The new section of the Maréchaux tramway, extended from Porte d'Asnières to Porte Dauphine, will open to the public on April 5

Wednesday morning, 10:30 a.m.

One of the 72 trains in circulation on the T3b tram line arrives at its current Porte-d'Asnières-Marguerite-Long terminus.

Around fifty passengers got off.

The machinist closes the doors and resumes his journey “empty”.

Direction: Porte-Dauphine station — located 3.2km and 7 stations further south — which will very soon become the new “west” terminus of the T3b line.

After more than four years of very complex work - marked by nightmarish traffic conditions for local residents and by countless coordination headaches between the different sites at Porte Maillot - the new section of the T3b is now operational.

It will be open to travelers on Friday April 5.

But only at the end of the period of “dry running” of the trains on the new tracks which started this week.
