A supposed millionaire from Dubai stops a woman on the A3 because he needs money for petrol.

When a police officer arrives, the situation escalates.

Frankfurt – Have you ever been stopped on the highway by a cash-strapped millionaire?

That's exactly what happened to a 40-year-old who was traveling on the A3 on Wednesday, March 13th.

When the driver wanted to drive off the A3 at the Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen exit around 1:25 p.m., she found a vehicle standing sideways in the middle of the exit, blocking the entire road, as the police report.

The woman then had to slam on the brakes and stop next to the vehicle.

Millionaire stopped his wife on the A3 for petrol money

The supposed driver of the broken down car introduced himself to her as a “millionaire from Dubai” in broken English.

He said he had misplaced his credit card and now needed money for gas.

He offered the 40-year-old two rings from his hand in return, but she is said to have found the situation suspicious.

She is said to have waved over another driver, who was said to have been identified as an employee of a police department by the key ring around his neck.

This immediately sent the fake millionaire fleeing, who ran to the passenger door of the broken down car.

An accomplice was already waiting for him there, who accelerated the vehicle, which was not so empty of petrol.

Accomplice hit main perpetrator while escaping from A3

The accomplice hit the alleged millionaire, who was thrown against the 40-year-old's car, according to the police.

He fell to the ground and visibly injured his arm.

He got back into the car and fled with his partner towards the Geisfeld roundabout.

After that, their trail got lost and a police search has so far been unsuccessful.

Last year, in a strange accident on the A3 near Frankfurt, the police found, among other things, a blank gun, a balaclava and a stowaway in the seat of a 27-year-old.
