On Sunday, March 17, 2024, visitors to the Amperoase will have the last opportunity to use the ice rink at the end of the season.
From Monday the regular ice time ends and the ice surface will be thawed.
Fürstenfeldbruck - “We are very satisfied with the number of visitors and the operation of the ice skating area.
Thanks to good weather conditions, the ice was consistently stable,” says Michael Janka, head of technology at the leisure facility.
“So clubs, schools and visitors were able to visit the ice rink extensively.” With the start of spring, temperatures rise to 20 °C, “so we are now ceasing operations,” says Michael Janka.
“We would like to thank all visitors for their loyalty and patience.”
Record number of visitors
Almost 35,000 visitors did their laps on the open-air ice rink over the past 4.5 months.
Be it the public skating, the club's training sessions or as part of physical education lessons - there was real fun for every ice skating enthusiast, according to the FFB public utility company.
The busiest days were during the Christmas and carnival holidays and during the three dates of the popular ice disco.
