A stranger with a bicycle threatened a 42-year-old from the Munich district with a knife at Unterhaching train station on Wednesday night and wanted to rob him.
The platform passenger was able to escape.
According to the police, the 42-year-old was on the platform of the Unterhaching S-Bahn station around 12:45 a.m.
There the stranger spoke to him and asked him to check when the next S-Bahn was coming.
The 42-year-old pointed him to the display board, walked on and was approached by the man again with the same request.
This time he didn't even bother with it.
When he heard loud noises behind him, he turned around and saw the stranger coming towards him and pulling out a pointed, oblong object from behind his back.
He threatened him with that.
He suddenly demanded cash and a cell phone.
The 42-year-old then fled.
Apparently successful.
He filed a police report belatedly.
Commissariat 21 has taken over the further investigation.
Call for witnesses:
According to witnesses, the perpetrator is male, around 40 to 50 years old, 1.85 meters tall, has a strong, athletic figure, has short blonde hair that is pulled up, a hedgehog hairstyle, and is wearing a black jacket or down vest and a gray, wide jogging pants.
Anyone who noticed something at this time in the area of the Unterhaching S-Bahn station, on Deisenhofner Weg, Hauptstrasse or Rathausstrasse and can provide relevant information should please contact the Munich Police Headquarters (Tel. 089/2910-0) or any other police station.
