Highlights: José Luis Espert questioned the decision of Vice President Victoria Villarruel to enable the treatment of the DNU of Javier Milei for this Thursday's session in the Senate. Espert, recently incorporated into the La Libertad Avanza bloc in Deputies, is an authorized voice in the Government, one of Milei's bishops in Congress, with direct dialogue. The official deputy went on to compare it with the Kirchnerist attitude towards the decrees in the times of the Frente de Todos.

The deputy, in direct dialogue with Javier Milei, questioned the vice president's decision to call the session in the Senate this Thursday to discuss the DNU. He said that he had no obligation to hold a session and the official tension escalated.

-Does Villarruel want to destabilize the government?

-I don't know.

-It is strong that you say that you don't know.

-In light of this,

it raises doubts in me, but I am not certain.

In this way, José Luis Espert questioned the decision of Vice President Victoria Villarruel to enable the treatment of the DNU of Javier Milei - the flagship of the ruling party, along with the delayed Omnibus law - for this Thursday's session in the Senate.

After the very harsh statement from the President's Office that set the tone for what could happen in the Upper House, Espert's response is not minor, given the internal conflict unleashed in the ruling party and the growing tension in the governing formula.

Espert, recently incorporated into the La Libertad Avanza bloc in Deputies, is an authorized voice in the Government, one of Milei's bishops in Congress, with direct dialogue.

That is why his words resonated strongly and escalated internally.

The president of the Senate gave in to pressure from the opposition - mostly Kirchnerist, but also from Peronist and radical voices - and called a special session for this Thursday to discuss the validity of the presidential decree to deregulate the economy.

And also some initiatives that are part of the Government's agenda, such as the withdrawal of documents, the agreement for diplomats, the authorization of the President's entry and exit from the country and the project that updates the legislation against money laundering.

Minutes before 7 p.m. this Wednesday and through the network account of the President's Office, Javier Milei stressed that both the failed attempt in Deputies to discuss a recomposition for retirees and the treatment of the DNU in the Senate threaten " the spirit of agreement" of the May Pact to which the Government summoned governors, former presidents and leaders of political parties.

In dialogue with LN+, Espert focused on Villarruel's role, "

The vice president had no obligation

to call tomorrow's session, even though the 5 signatures had been gathered (due to the Kirchnerist presentation in this regard). If that "If it had happened in the Deputies it was different. So here

there is a political decision to deal with it

."

Then, the official deputy went on to compare it with the Kirchnerist attitude towards the decrees in the times of the Frente de Todos.

"There is the underlying issue:

Alberto Fernández, a criminal

during the pandemic, has

hundreds of DNU that were not treated

and we are going to treat this DNU that allowed the rental market to be normalized, that allows people freedom to change social work, that declares the blocking of a company a criminal offense.

I don't understand. People don't understand

how a DNU that is good for the people is questioned and others like those of Alberto Fernández are not," he insisted and recalled the relevance that the ruling party gives to the norm under debate.

Given this, he was interrupted by one of the journalists who asked him if he saw in Villarruel an intention to destabilize the Government.

"I don't know," he answered first.

In response to insistence, he responded again: "In light of this, it raises doubts in my mind, but I am not certain."

Espert made his move to La Libertad Avanza official days ago and is one of the official swords with the most direct dealings with Milei.

In fact, they appeared together at a conference at ExpoAgro and then the President himself added it in an interview to give the scoop on the deputy's move to the ruling party.

It does not seem coincidental that he is the one who questions the vice president.

Espert went on to harangue Milei's government plan: "If this move by liberalism goes well, against bad politics, against unionism, the culerío is infernal that remains there."

And then he left another message: "

If tomorrow the DNU falls,

it will be clear that

the political corporation is watching another channel

and is not understanding the people's message. Let them know that those who want to overturn the DNU, who recover the market of rentals, at least in the offer, they are overturning a decree that is spectacular.

Already at the closing, Espert returned to the charge against Villarruel.

"You should avoid tomorrow's session."

Milei's statement that caused friction with Villarruel

Without mentioning it

, the Government came out to cross Vice President Victoria Villarruel for enabling the treatment of the DNU for Thursday's session in the Senate and the opposition for the failed attempt in Deputies to deal with an "unconsulted" retirement reform project.

Through the Office of the President, Javier Milei stressed that both actions

violate "the spirit of agreement" of the May Pact

that he announced as a gesture of dialogue in his opening speech to Congress.

"The National Government hopes that the Legislative Branch

does not allow itself to be captivated by the siren song

of those who intend to 'score' short-term victories," encouraged the presidential text whose verb can have such an impact on Kirchnerism with the annoyances it caused in the Executive.

The warning did not stop there... "The potential rejection of the DNU, which is currently close to a definition by the Supreme Court of Justice,

would entail a serious setback

in the rights and needs of the Argentine people, implying, for example, the return of the Rental Law, the return to the rigid system of union social works, the maintenance of the corrupt model of the Automotive Registries, and the cancellation of the open skies policy, among others," says the official text on the DNU that will be discussed this Thursday from 11 a.m. in the Upper House.

And there was another stinging paragraph.

"They intend

to advance with their own and unconsulted agenda

, in order to hinder negotiations and dialogue between the different sectors of the political leadership," said the statement posted on networks by the virtual office of the Presidency.

After Milei's statement, the Senate ratified this Thursday's session.

At the Parliamentary Labor meeting,

Villarruel made a last attempt to postpone

the DNU debate based on the ongoing negotiations of the Casa Rosada with the governors in pursuit of a fiscal agreement, but the opposition bloc leaders rejected the proposal .
