A new fire station is being built in Goldach.
After the space program and feasibility study have been developed by 2021, the preliminary draft is now on the table.

The engineering firm Bestler (ibb, Augsburg) is responsible for the preparation of the preliminary draft that has now been submitted to the building committee.
Architect Kathrin Luxenhofer now presented the key points of the plans.
When it came to the cost approach, the project manager worked with an average.
As she explained, the BKI index was used as a basis, which rose by a whopping 50 percent from 2020 to 2023 to now 2,590 euros per square meter.
But because building prices are currently falling again, Luxenhofer has now set a value of 2,325 euros per square meter (gross) for the calculation.
“With these numbers we are on the right track,” says Luxenhofer.

This results in an investment volume of 9.7 million euros.
Compared to the feasibility study, the guard's usable space in the current preliminary design has increased by a good 323 square meters to around 2,449.
A reserve area on the upper floor, space for an emergency generator, changing rooms, hose storage and traffic areas were also planned.
The additional costs (590,000 euros) are already included in the cost estimate.
There was a lot of praise from the building committee for the preliminary design.
The tenor is that further savings at the expense of functionality are not desired.
There were extensive discussions about the roof: a green pent roof with a five percent slope, foil covering and photovoltaics is planned.
And although building authority manager Frank Zimmermann and the architect made it very clear that similar damage to the flat-sloped metal roof of the middle school - caused by craftsmanship errors and inadequate construction supervision - was not to be expected, some councilors remained skeptical: “I think it's shitty if water or snow comes to the surface “flow towards buildings,” said Christian Krätschmer (CSU).

The decision about the washing hall was referred to the local council: According to the decision, it is actually planned for the new fire station in Hallbergmoos, but it is still a long way from being built.
In Goldach it could be realized soon for an estimated 360,000 euros as part of the new building.
The local council also decides whether the Goldach fire station will be built according to the cradle-to-cradle principle.
The project developer made it clear in advance that suitable, sustainable measures could also be carried out on your own.
