Could Marcel and Pablo, the gerbils raised in a Montrouge class, have been wrongly accused?
More than three months after the appearance of the first red spots in schoolchildren and adults at the Rabelais kindergarten, the hypothesis of flea bites coming from these two rodents indeed seems to be crumbling.
Even though the two small animals were removed from the school group on February 12, the symptoms continue.
New cases have been reported.
According to a teacher, there were at least 9 in the classes located on the upper floors.
These are in addition to the twenty cases recorded in the two classes on the ground floor which were relocated to another school on January 12.
These two classes have still not returned to the Rabelais school, contrary to what was announced by the city before the February holidays.
