Since King Charles III's cancer.
The future of the British monarchy will be debated sooner than expected.
However, Prince Harry is said to be left out of the secret talks.
London – Since King Charles III.
(75) made his cancer public at the beginning of February, the future of the British monarchy is also being debated in the British royal family.
The focus of the secret conversations, which take place behind closed doors, is all about Prince William (41).
However, his brother Prince Harry (39) should be completely left out.
But there is also a concrete reason for this, as nobility expert Tom Quinn revealed.
Nobility expert: Prince Harry will “definitely not be included in succession talks”
When it comes to the question of King Charles' successor, Harry's withdrawal from his royal offices is likely to play a major role.
The Duke of Sussex and his wife Duchess Meghan (42) turned their backs on the monarchy in 2020 and emigrated to the USA.
Since then, he has left his family unkind and has confronted the British royal family with allegations of bullying and racism.
The consequences of Prince Harry's exit are now also being felt in the succession to the throne.
“Harry will definitely not be included in the succession talks because he is no longer a working or trustworthy king,” explains Tom Quinn in an interview with
mirror.co.uk.
“He got his wish and is no longer the replacement, or at least he is only nominally the replacement,” he elaborates.
A little swipe at Harry's memoirs entitled "Spare", which translates as "reserve" or "replacement".
That's why Prince Harry is excluded from succession planning
The fact that Prince Harry has not minced his words in public when it comes to the royal family could now become a pitfall for him.
“Succession planning is top secret and no one trusts Harry to be involved in it, for the simple reason that he will go directly to the media if he feels slighted in any way or is not being given what he wants In my opinion, it’s deserved,” Quinn speculates.

Instead, Prince William (41) is now the focus of secret succession discussions.
And they seem to be coming sooner than expected.
“Officials had assumed that Charles would remain healthy until at least his mid-eighties before succession planning would have to begin,” Quinn explains.
"But in fact it has now begun and may indicate that Charles' cancer is more dangerous than we have been led to believe."
