Another single-family home was broken into in Hausham.
The procedure is similar - and could indicate a serial perpetrator.
The police are investigating.
Hausham
- Less than three weeks after the most recent break-in in a single-family home on Schlierachstrasse, an unknown person broke into a residential building in Hausham again - just a few hundred meters from the first crime scene.
This time too, the crime apparently took place before dark; the police assume it took place last Wednesday, March 13th, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the twilight hours.
In this case, the residents of a detached single-family home on Pommerweg were robbed.
As the police report, the perpetrator or perpetrators broke open a window that was difficult to see, entered the house and made four-figure loot.
“In the last few weeks there have been repeated break-ins in Hausham or Neuhaus.
“The perpetrator’s actions suggest that the crimes are connected,” the officials explain.
Police: Do not leave cash, valuables or jewelry openly
In this context, the police advise people not to leave cash or other valuables - especially jewelry - openly in the house.
“Bedrooms or bathrooms are usually searched first by perpetrators.” The police are now asking for the public’s help: “Who saw suspicious people or vehicles in the area of Pommerweg, Schöllerstrasse or Schlierachstrasse in Hausham on March 13th?” the officers ask.
The Miesbach police will receive relevant information by telephone on 08025/299-0.
